CJB Counselling
From invisible to online — a counselling practice finally has a home on the web.
The project
CJB Counselling is a therapy practice offering support for anxiety, abuse, and more. The client needed a professional online presence to showcase her services and make it easy for potential clients to reach her — built on Webflow, clean, and something she could be proud of.
The goal was straightforward: get the practice online with a website that felt safe, approachable, and trustworthy from the very first scroll.
Design for a sensitive audience
People seeking therapy are often in vulnerable moments. The website had to communicate safety, professionalism, and warmth simultaneously — not just look good on a screen.
Every design decision had to serve the audience first. Colors, spacing, typography, and imagery all needed to feel calm and grounding — never clinical or cold.
Design and build, all in one
I used Relume to shape the design structure and built around the client's brand colors to keep the visual identity consistent. The layout was kept clean and minimal — generous whitespace, readable typography, and a warm color palette that felt human.
On the technical side, I brought the site to life with a carefully chosen set of tools — each one chosen to enhance the experience without adding unnecessary complexity.
GSAP split text
Smooth, staggered text reveal animations that add personality to the hero and section headings without feeling overwhelming.
Lenis smooth scroll
Buttery smooth scrolling that makes the entire browsing experience feel premium and intentional.
SwiperJS testimonials
A clean, touch-friendly testimonial slider that lets visitors browse social proof without leaving the page.
Finsweet FAQ
Accessible, animated FAQ accordion powered by Finsweet Attributes — no custom JS required.
A site she's proud of
The client was happy with both the work and the support throughout the process. The final site matched exactly what she had been striving for — a calm, professional space that represents her practice online and makes it easy for potential clients to reach out.
"Working with Mark has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish. He completely understood the vision I had for my website and brought it to life, even better than I imagined. He was incredibly efficient, professional, and easy to work with throughout the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble, and his attention to detail was fantastic. I’m absolutely over the moon with the finished result. I have had many compliments on the website. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a talented and reliable web designer."
